The recipe is important because it’s what we’ve always done. But it isn’t the recipe that makes the meal. The fact that we only get it once a year makes it special, but the people we shared that recipe with year after year are what really made it matter. Around the table, we took time to know each other deeper and reflect on the year gone past.

We crave community with people, and there is no greater place for that than the table. A place to share and listen. A place to be known.
